Alexandrina, Egypt The archways are fashioned on the interior of the new library at Alexandra in Egypt which historically housed the Greatest Library in the World. The painting was commissioned by UNESCO to promote the rebuilding of the Library and shown at the Egyptian Embassy, London. Papyrus and used tickets from the entrance to the tombs and temples along the Nile are used for the walls.
Doorways, Gateways and Arches are a reoccuring theme in Felicity's ART WORKS. Here she blends mosaics, paint and metal to create a serene image.

'Fisherman' on metal school desk Recycling adds to the adventure of creating the ART WORKS and this piece is done on a metal desk that Felicity found discarded in Botswana. The image was created after a trip to Maritius showing the orange boat and blue waters behind the fisherman.
