From initial sketches Felicity started experimenting with different media to dramatise the images so that their power and intoxicating seduction was captured.
Experimenting with drawing ink Random coloured inks were poured from a height so that the colours would bleed together.
Felicity would then look intensely at the accidental pourings and see if it took a form of its own and then block in the background to make sense of the image. |
Exotic FaunaFelicity describes herself as a colourist. A blue sky will become pink, a green field will turn purple. The literal is not important but making the scene speak to you is what Felicity pursues.
