I was fortunate to be invited along with my friends Donna and Bruce from Australia on a walking holiday in the Cinque Terre, Italy.
The Cinque Terre is a hamlet of five fishing villages virtually closed off to traffic and accessible by foot or train that links the villages.vi
Thousands of hikers flock to the coast to do the steep walk between the villages. The climb is strenuous but the views are breathtaking and definitely worth the effort.
